A conversation is composed of two aspects: listening and talking.
Most of us do really well at the talking part, it’s the listening part that can throw us for a loop. By not listening, we can get ourselves in trouble!
Have you ever found yourself:
- distracted when someone is talking to you
- thinking how to respond to the person before they have finished talking
- projecting ahead what the person will say before they have a chance to answer
If we find it difficult to actively listen to humans, think how much more taxing it can be to listen to animals!
It is vital when we Talk2theAnimals that we practice and polish our listening skills.,,,,,that we know when NOT to talk…….that we have the skill and patience to sit in silence when needed.
Talk2theAnimals is offering a class to help you strengthen your listening skills. Entitled ‘How to Listen So Animals Will Talk‘, this one hour class is scheduled as a TeleConference on Tuesday January 12 at 1PM CST and Thursday, January 14 at 7PM CST, giving you the opportunity to attend the one that best fits your schedule.
