Our world is changing quite rapidly and in ways that few, if any of us, has ever experienced before. Many of us, including our leaders, are at a loss on how to move forward in this current climate of chaos and confusion. We find ourselves wondering “what’s next?”

New times call for new and different ways of approaching problems and issues, new ways of creating new life. Albert Einstein (1879-1955) said: “The significant problems we have cannot be solved at the same levels of thinking with which we created them.”

So, I’m going out on a limb and saying that asking the animals for help in solving our problems is certainly a different level of thinking from the thinking that originally created the problems!

In yesterday’s post, Maverick Melberg gave his thoughts on the economy. Today, we’re going to hear from my horse, Shiloh.

JR: Hi Shiloh, how are you, buddy? Are you willing to talk today about the world economy and share your thoughts with us?

S: “I’m doing good today. I like it when you call me ‘buddy’ and I’m always happy to tell people what I think.

“First of all, I want to say that it is good, so very good that people are beginning to ask the help of us animals and are beginning to listen to us. We have a different perspective from you humans, and you can learn from our perspective, if you are willing to stop your antics and listen to us.

“It is important to remember that each animal will offer their perspective on your current situation. No one perspective is right, nor is it wrong. Each perspective offers a kernel of truth and hope, and it is when all perspectives are put together, and looked at as a whole that a true picture will emerge and you humans will begin to be able to right yourselves.

“Humans tend to look at life in black or white, night or day, either…or. No! You must stop looking at Life like that! It is not me or you, it is me AND you. It is together that we make a complete unit, not factions or fractions!

“Look at us horses. We work together in a herd! Our herd offers us safety and it lets every horse be who they are meant to be. We don’t wear disguises! I’m not a leader, I don’t try to lead. The herd would be in trouble if I were to try to be the leader!

“Do not think in small terms when I use the word ‘herd.’ I use it to mean the collective, not groups, or divisions, or factions. The trouble with you humans is that you don’t think in the collective. You think too small, you think only in either….or; me OR you. You don’t think in the big picture, you don’t think in the all together.

“When you don’t think in the collective of all, problems occur. You are now seeing that and living the results of your either….or thinking. It is time to come out of that, it is time to come together in your collective herd.

“You have asked about the economy, but I am talking about things that need to be taken care of before the issue of your economy and other situations can be solved, renewed and recreated.

“If you humans try to resolve your problems before coming together, you will only create more problems, dig yourselves deeper into the hole that you have already created.

“Now, this is what you can learn from us horses. We teach working together, being in a herd. We are powerful, you can harness our strength and forward motion and we will help you pull yourselves out of this hole. We teach love, we teach compassion. We have worked with you humans from times untold, we are willing to continue to work with you now.

“As humans learn to work more together in the collective human herd, you will notice us horses being more and more with you. We are here for you, as all animals are here for you.”

JR: Thank you, buddy. I will tell others what you have said, and I’ll see you later today.

So says Shiloh. I invite you to consider how Horse can help you in your own, personal situations of coming together, becoming part of the “collective human herd.” Leave your comments on how you experience this; it’s very likely that your experience will help someone else on their journey.

Harmony,

Animal Communication is IN!

It seems like everywhere you turn these days you’re reading about, hearing about and bumping into animal communicators. Animal Planet even has a TV show featuring pet psychic Sonya Fitzpatrick.

The other day I attended an eWomen Network luncheon, and lo and behold, I was seated next to another animal communicator! Now what are the odds of that happening?

I’ll bet you’re wondering why animal communication is so popular – here are my thoughts on that subject.

Why is Animal Communication So Popular?

We love our pets and want to deepen that relationship

In October, 2007 the Humane Society of the United States compiled statistics that revealed that in the United States there are 74.8 million people who own dogs and 90 million who own cats. In today’s current environment, pets occupy a prominent place in a family, or are the central focus of attention in a single household. As more of us are bringing pets into our homes and family dynamics, it is only natural that we want to strengthen our relationship with our pet partners, incorporating them into the family structure.

We want to make our animals happy

Coming from a place of love, people want to give their pet partners the best life they can, physically, mentally and emotionally. This translates into organic food, special diets, health care, health insurance and speciality items. When I travel, my dogs either come with me or I arrange for their vet tech to come and stay with them, saving them (and myself!) the stress of leaving them in a strange surrounding with new and unfamiliar people.

As children, many of us had this natural connection with animals

Now in adulthood we are re-membering and re-connecting with the natural intuitive abilities we had as children. Because these talents have been dormant for so many years, we are looking for those who can affirm our intuitive abilities and teach us more about them.

Esoterically speaking, the time is right

As my horse Shiloh says, now is the time to get on the bandwagon and learn to talk to the animals. Among the many circumstances accounting for this are:

The gradual shift from a patriarchal to a matriarchal paradigm

Our growing awareness of nature and how we affect it

Our willingness to go outside ourselves and begin to connect with other creatures

Our willingness to accept and explore our intuitive nature

We have role models

Thanks to technology, finding information on and about animal communication is only a click away. As we see more and more people involved in this field, we can look to them for guidance and inspiration.

We All Do Better When All Creatures Do Better

When we enrich another creature’s life, we also are enriching our own.

Harmony,

When you think of the words ‘animal consulting’, Shiloh is the animal doing the consulting! He has requested to be a part of this blog, to help people connect with animals. As you and I travel the animal communication road, he will provide some animal communication pointers, straight from the horse’s mouth, so to speak!

Today as I was with Shiloh he suddenly said:

“Tell people not to limp along with their animal communication skills. Now is the time for people to really learn to talk to animals, and to listen to us, too. We have much to share. But people limp along, they’re afraid to try, they don’t trust themselves. Now is the time, though, for people to talk to us.

“They need to learn to trot along in their talking abilities – to put one foot forward, and then another. We horses trot using our legs in pairs, we would be happy to talk with you people like that. People and horses would work together in pairs. It would be a good combination, if only people would learn to trot, and not limp along.

“Times are especially good for those people who want to learn to trot in communication with us. We are ready to do so. For those people who are ready to trot alongside us, they will learn how to talk to us, how to talk to other animals. It’s not as hard as people think. When everyone is together in pairs, it’s not work, but a smooth movement. Just like my trot can be a smooth flow.

“For those people ready to talk, let’s go! Let’s have a good conversation! Find a horse to talk with you. Ask them to share their story and see what they have to say.

“We have worked for you humans for an eternity. Now we are ready to work with you.”

Shiloh, can you give our readers some pointers on talking with animals?Shiloh Says: “Yes, I can. Well, the first thing people need to remember is that our time is not your time. You have asked me to talk at a time when I am outside and the weather is cold and I am cold. It is hard to think when you are as cold as I am, but I have chosen to talk because this is a good teaching point. People put their schedules first, mostly out of habit, but sometimes out of thoughtlessness to what the animals are doing. Just like talking person to person, you will learn more from your animal friend and the talk will be more ‘productive’ – to use a human term – when it’s a good time for both parties. People can also start thinking of talking with animals as something that they want to do, something that is enjoyable and a way to build their companionship. You humans need to get away from that word ‘productive’ – we’ll talk about that at another time when I’m more comfortable.”Do animals look at animal communication as a ‘big deal’?“No, why should we? Talking is talking is talking – communication is a very natural thing to do. We horses don’t ‘talk’ to each other the way we talk to you humans, because we don’t need to. We talk to you humans so that you can best understand us. When I communicate with you, I project words because that’s how I can best grab your attention. When I talk with some of the other people at the barn I might use pictures. With some people I use my body language, because that may be the only way they will understand me. It doesn’t matter how we communicate, as long as we communicate.”Thanks for sharing your wisdom, Buddy. See you later today.

Shiloh, my 16 year old quarter horse has been a four legged mentor, teacher and companion in my journey as an animal communicator. When you think of the words ‘animal consulting’, Shiloh is the animal doing the consulting! He has requested to be a part of this blog, to help people connect with animals. As you and I travel the animal communication road, he will provide some animal communication pointers, straight from the horse’s mouth, so to speak!

Asked what animals think of people beginning to talk with them, Shiloh Says: “Yes, it is time that you humans caught up with us animals! We’ve been talking and talking and talking, and it usually falls on deaf ears. Humans are not better than creatures, just different. We all have our talents, and it’s time that humans took off their blinders and open up to the world that is outside of their narrow counsciousness. Once people get over their intimidation of talking with the animals, they will find that we have a lot to share with them. Their world will become more complete as they include us in it, not just as domesticated or favored pets, or barnyard animals, but as contributing members of the earth family. When you’re talking to animals, don’t be serious! Have fun – make a game of it! You humans work too hard, try too hard. Make it fun! You’ll be surprised at what your favorite animal companion has to tell you. And take it slow – be patient with yourself and with us. If you are new to the idea of talking, we won’t give you more than you can take in. Not all animals like to talk as much as I do – I’m a natural.”
