About Janet Roper

Janet Roper Animal Communicator Talk2TheAnimalsJanet Roper, Animal Communicator, Minnesota, USA

I am an animal advocate, an internationally known animal communicator, and host of the popular Talk2theAnimalsRadio show.  I’ve been delighted to appear at the Celebrity Gift Mart of the American Music Awards, and I have been featured in numerous news articles, magazines and appeared as a guest on various radio shows. I am also a speaker and author,  a contributing author to the book Angel Horses: Divine Messengers of Hope by Linda and Allen Anderson. My popular eBook, Listening so Animals Will Talk, is available as a free download when you sign up for our newsletter. I am cheerfully owned and managed by three cats, two dogs and one Best Horse.

Here’s my story:

I have long been fascinated by relationships.

Whether it is the relationship between humans and their pets, a person and a higher power, or musicians and their instruments, I have studied it in an attempt to understand it and help the person deepen those relationships and achieve harmony.

I became interested in animal communication in 2000 after I adopted a dog with potty training issues. Even with the guidance and expertise of the vet and trainer, the issue was not resolved.

As a last resort, I called an animal communicator. I became so impressed with the my dog Teddy’s progress that I started taking classes in animal communication to further develop my intuition. My training and work as a spiritual director complements and enhances the communications with the animals and their humans.

Since then, I have helped people and their animals balance, tune and deepen their relationships through individual consultations and “No-Pet” Pet Parties, animal communication in a unique party format.

Do I believe I have a special gift or talent because I Talk2theAnimals? Not at all! I believe everyone has this ability to communicate with different species. As I like to end all the newsletters and the radio show……Remember: U2CanTalk2theAnimals!

      Hi Sherri,
Good morning! Yes, I do consultations over the phone, and if you like you can even receive a free recording of the communication. Send me an email at janet@Talk2theAnimals.com and I’ll send you the information. I look forward to hearing from you!

Hi, Janet — we connected once a while ago on Twitter, but I wondered if you could tell me how to set up an animal communication call with you? There is nothing immediately obvious on your site for that, that I can see, though I was really pleased to find that you are also a gifted violinist engaged in music therapy when I googled for your name.

I’m having a litter box issue with my 13-year-old diabetic cat, Betsey, that I hope you can communicate with her about. I’ve tried, but so far, am not able to get through to her. Maybe because she’d rather not be bothered. Thanks so much. Laurel Marshfield

      Hi Laura,
I am sorry it was a challenge to connect! I will rectify that for the future, and I thank you for your persistence. I will have my assistant Jodi connect with you regarding that information.

It can be the hardest to connect with our own crew, since we are emotionally attached to them. I have my own list of communicators I use for my 4 leggeds when needed.

      Talk soon,
      Harmony,
      Janet

Betsey does tell me when there’s something she WANTS, but when it’s something I’d prefer . . . well, another story. She’s a sweety, though, regardless. Thanks so much for replying. I’ll look forward to talking with you soon.

      Hi Laurel,
Welcome to the world of animal communication – I am learning more and more each day there’s a lot of negotiating involved! ;-)

Hi, My name is Susan and we have 2 black labs and 2 horses. Do you make house calls? There are some specific things about all of our animals that we would like to know.
    Thank you!

      Hi Susan,
Thanks for connecting and leaving your question here! I am located in MN, so I do sometimes make housecalls. However, with animal communication, it’s usually not necessary to make house calls. You can compare it to me writing to you now: I am not in the same location you are, but we’re still receiving information from each other. I will email you information regarding animal communication sessions. If you haven’t done so already, check out this Talk2theAnimals post on How Animal Communication Works.

    Hello Janet,
I just joined the mailing list and am beginning to navigate my way through all the great information on animal communication. I keep seeing a link about creating a “circle of listening” when starting a practice session but when I click on it, it’s kind of a dead end. I’ve also tried searching here but nothing pops up.
Could you explain what the “circle of listening” is and how to create it? Thanks in advance!!
