The red-tail returned yesterday while I was distributing hay, and called over and over to me for about 10 minutes from the bottom branch of a tree. I feel like he has a message but I’m not yet sure what it is. He seems persistent, though! I’ll keep listening.

A little bit, I’m sure. Some of the time, though, I was just listening to the actual pitch and tone of the call, enjoying its resonance in the foggy air.
