Cats and Mysteries

by admin on March 29, 2009

Everyone knows that cats are mysterious creatures: they do things their own way, in their own time, and for their own reasons.  Even one of my vets admits that cats can be puzzling.  As he says, “It’s a cat…go figure.”

Author Rita Mae Brown has used this mysterious nature of cats to her advantage.  She has written a series of best selling who-dun-its with the cat, Mrs. Murphy, playing an essential role in solving the mystery.  Of course Mrs. Murphy can’t solve the mysteries by herself.  She has help from her 2 legged friend Mary Minor “Harry” Haristeen, another feline, Pewter, and a corgi, Tee Tucker.

These books are enjoyable, an easy read.
