There's certainly no comfort in that idea for anyone who has lost a good friend. I look forward to seeing my critter friends again on the other side. We loved each other so much here that I can't imagine that we would never be together again. My kitty disappeared last year, and I knew the coyotes had gotten her. A couple weeks back she showed me where she was so we could say goodbye. She's in a beautiful place in our woods, along a creek. I couldn't have picked a nicer place for her. I know she stayed close to me until she could show me her resting place. I released her later that day and told her it was OK to go now and that I'd see her again. And I know I will! I have asked that question to myself many times, will I ever see Schatzi, Skippy, Mickey, Scooter, Timber, Ben, Thor, Allie, Summit, Tessa, Ozzie, again. I miss them so much and they hold very special places in my heart. It's good to know that someday we will all be together again. The closeness between people and their animals is such a strong bond, both physically and with our souls. I now have three dogs and 3 cats and don't know what life would be without them. The comfort and love they bring is phenominal. I am truly an animal lover and Janet Roper's blog is so interesting. I think its wonderful the connection and ability that she has with animals. I hope everyone will support Janet's auction and donate to the Buffalo Animal Humane Society or the AHS of their choice. Let's raise lots of money to help animals in need.
