Summer is officially here, a time for fun in the sun. The folks over at LuvMyPet.com have written an excellent tip sheet about summer care for pets. I invite you to go over there and check it out. I’m not going to steal their thunder, but I am going to give you a little preview of what to expect once you get there.
Don’t leave your pets in the car
Keep pets off lawns that have been fertilized or treated with pesticides
Make sure your pet always wears their collar with id – this goes for fall, winter and spring, also
Check with your vet for a heartworm prevention for your pet partner
Be careful when exercising in the heat and humidity – remember the pavement can burn the pads of the paws
This was a sampling of the article. Head on over to LuvMyPet.com to check out the details!
Harmony,
Janet Roper
