Their cheeks have pouches, which are used to transport food. When filled, pouches can become as big as their head
They are able to climb trees
Their nests are underground and have widespread tunnels with many entrances.

Spectacled Flying Foxes have a very sensitive sense of smell, and very good eyesight.
Their favorite roosting locations are in the canopies of trees in rainforests, such as mangroves, eucalyptus, or paperbark while in the sun, and colonies can number in the hundreds.
Threatened Species (in Australia), Least Concern (in the rest of the world’s populations).

Hares can run up to 70 kilometers per hour.

The Large Flying Fox is the second largest bat in the world by weight, and the largest by wingspan (7 feet).
They are active mostly in the evening into the night, while during the day they roost in large trees with many of their colony members, sometimes numbering in the hundreds.
