- The squirrel glider (Petaurus norfolcensis) is a gliding mammal
- The squirrel glider is able to glide from tree to tree, sometimes even at distances up to 50 meters, or about 164 feet.
- The squirrel glider is endemic, or unique, to Australia, and is found particularly in eastern Australia.
