I do not like the term ‘killer’ whales. IMO, that says much more about the humans that apply it than the animals it is applied to. I mean, anytime the word ‘killer’ is said, it’s only applied to the bad guys. Good vs. bad. Them against us. Anytime there is a division, there is an implication of power over. Are humans better than animals, or simply different from the animals?
All creatures do better when all creatures do better. We are all connected, we are all in relationship. The Lakota call it Mitakuye Oyasin.
